Specifically, I want to be the person making the sheet music. I have extensive experience with Sibelius and Finale, and all classical music training and a large amount of knowledge of written music for all types of instruments. Classical for strings, woodwind, brass and percussion. And pop music, lyrics, chord charts for guitar, tab, whatever. I live in Los Angeles. I want a job put those talents to use, making sheet music of quality for a publishing company. Where to begin, and once I start, where do I go there?
Would have to find out the names of the music publishing business, then visit their websites or call or write and see if they are recruitment. Once you've started, where you can go from there probably will be evident. The secret is to get your foot in the door.
