The Lisbon Coast - A quieter alternative to Algarve Golf Holidays?
The Lisbon Coast, in central Portugal, is one of the three regions main course. As with the golf course the other regions of Portugal - Algarve and Madeira - a round at one of the old Lisbon fine courses, such as Estoril prestige is an absolutely unique experience.
And great shops of the city, charming architecture and fascinating museums offer an excellent opportunity tourism, as well as the opportunity to experience the delicious local cuisine in some of Portugal's finest restaurants.
But you should keep in mind that when taking into account the pulsating nightlife of Lisbon, and the entertainment scene, the Portuguese capital can not be a quieter alternative to the Algarve. Checking of the cafes in Chiado, before dining in the neighborhood of Bairro Alto will take most of their free time after hours.
They are the epicenter of the bars of the city and where most of the action takes place at night. And on days off, you can explore the small coastal fishing villages, hiking in the mountain forests, or visit the vineyards.
There are over 20 courses in the city of Lisbon, and in 2006 the city was voted best golf destination in Europe by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators. You could start your tour of the region with a round on the famous Estoril, which regularly hosts the Portuguese Open, here the forest dressed par-69 course features a 184-particularly difficult hole 16 meters deep.
The clubhouse with panoramic views of the Atlantic, and its restaurant is highly recommended. Europe's First Audubon International 'Certified Signature Sanctuary / Gold' of course, the challenge Quinta da Marinha is situated in Cascais, 25 km from Lisbon. The hole in the star is the par-4 13, which descends to the sea.
The Lisbon Sports Club, which dates from 1880, has for the past 45 years based on Belas, 15 km from Lisbon. Located in cypress and eucalyptus trees, several creeks and bunkers to negotiate on their routes before finally relax in the club of the colony with its panoramic views of the 5th and 18th streets.
Another course with a past association Atlântico Penha Longa is situated in a wooded park monastery 14th century. This very difficult par-72 course has the added handicap occasionally strong winds and water hazards.
The adjacent Penha Longa Monastery, a 9-hole par-35 course built to the highest standards, the monastery grounds surrounding historic and Penha Longa Palace and is backed Sintra by the impressive mountain range. Less demanding than its neighbor, this dramatic beautiful countryside has it all - scenery, variety and challenge, and historic surroundings.
Located in the mountains of Carregueira, the Belas Clube de Campos, of course you'll find shelter from the wind along the streets that cross the valleys lined with native vegetation. The difficult par-5 second hole, Augusta, named after the 13th hole during the U.S., it is worth taking time over, while the second hit the final hole requires a drive of 180 yards to the green that is guarded by a significant water feature.

Does anyone know where I can find scores High Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas?
OK ... Basically I am a 14-year high / Tenor (Alto more I am not ashamed as impressive = P). My singing teacher wanted me to sing at a concert and choose Colors of the Wind. It was good. But now I'm doing GCSE music and the performance of my first record (and probably I'll do a bit if my voice does not break) I sing Colors of the Wind. I remember it well, but I need the score for the examiner to have. Does anyone know where can I get free and in the original key? I've seen a few free, but I'm not sure they are in the correct key. PS I need the score not the letter. Thanks! ^ ^
I have the score! I try to scan my computer and emailed to you. I think it is in the original key ... I gave it my book of Disney friends when I could not sing very high. Wonky could leave but I will try to copy straight. Would you like to by mail to you?
