I felt a bit blue last week. Out class. I had a funny feeling all week. CouldnÂ't really put my finger on it. I felt uncomfortable in my own skin. A strange feeling for me and another havenÂ't experienced since I can remember. I concluded that it was because I was entering unknown territory in getting this mom Rocket Society officially launched. That even though I see the need to feel the need and am anxious to meet the need that others do not necessarily capture my vision. To get it up and running was too much work. I was not qualified. Technologically backward. Feeling a little bit sorry for myself-no, feeling isnÂ't are very right-um, maybe the feeling that there was over-loaded my personal limitations. Yes, that's it is stretched too far. Gone too far. Dreamed too large. And my emotions hadnÂ't still stuck in my brain.
I needed perspective, but much more needed wisdom. He to read that out on a limb produces anxiety. That these feelings are normal. That nuts that wasnÂ't. That it was okay to ask for blessings. To reassure. That pray for the expanded territory was not only a "permissible, a" but that was part of the design of Goda in my life.
I curled up in my sofa room with one of my favorite books: Bruce Wilkinson's The Prayer of Jabez. Having read and reread many times, I had to read it again now and capture, Once again, the wisdom contained in its pages.
Growing up as one of those Christians who believed it would be greedy of me to ask further the blessings of Goda, when I like to begin with, I had a hard time with the concept that was not only okay to ask for more, but that's what God wants from me. For starters, I had a misunderstanding of the word "blessing.Â" I had of course heard the word, seeing the word. Hundreds, if not thousands of times before. But we use it incorrectly. And it leads to misunderstandings. As discussed Wilkinson, we say that a "Bless you'd" after someone sneezes. We casually tell people wish them blessings. We bless the food, bless the turkey, bless the pumpkin pie.
But a "to bless in the sense Bible means asking or giving favor. supernatural "(1) When I ask for the blessings of Goda, IÂ'm not ask more than I could get, or more than they could achieve more than you or I think I deserve! IÂ'm asking God to provide a medi-through his supernatural power, something that could not achieve on my own.
Wilkinson's book, we see that Jabez left everything in God's hands: how to be blessed, what blessings would come upon him and how he was to receive them.
I knew exactly when he needed it. (I love when that happens ...) I was able to finish the book, pull myself off the couch (after a little nap of Nice) and strip off the weekend with renewed energy and enthusiasm. I had a simple prayer: a "Lord, show strength. Show me you're here. Everything around me. Work everywhere. Even in my loneliness and my fear. "
And fun little things that happened the long weekend. I have emails from friends with whom I talked hadnÂ't in recent weeks. Phonemails, too. Kind gestures were given to medi ... catch me totally off guard. Like when I offered to see a full STRANGERE little girl in the hallway outside the factory cheese so the mother can see the estimated length of their waiting, only to be at dinner some food sent by it as a way of saying "thanks acts of YOU. "several smaller, seemingly insignificant kindness taken place over the next two days, and I feel much sense of the presence of Goda. His work everywhere.
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, I ask you to pay particular attention to the word "blessing.Â" It is not to be taken lightly. It is a word which we raise our Creator in prayer. With humility. We asked for a shower of blessings for the greater glory of God. Goda pray for wishes be fulfilled. But not ours. We pray without ego. Or competitive ambition. But just to walk better these days in service to Him and our fellowmen.
My prayer is that you receive Thanksgiving blessings to live more fully supernatural design Goda in her life. May He bless you in abundance for all things they want in the world gathered through each of us the audacity to call our place in it. That, however God wants to use you to fulfill their targets, would meet the challenge. And it would be crystal clear, it will not be by his works-or tide, that His will be done. For, according to Scripture: "the Lord's blessing is our greatest asset, our work adds nothing to it.Â" (Proverbs 10:22) I hope you use some of the downtime A "" weekend of prayer to undergo Goda work in this world. To be completely open about how and where it might fit in the eternal drama. Than he pricked his heart so he would be open to the miracles God wants to do through his life.

How come when people sneeze around the room quite says "bless you?"?
I'm too much of a pretty, by what ever just a "health" when sneezing. What is wrong with society when only bless the popular crowd?
