Matangdev Lord is the founder of 'Barmati Panth'. Matangdev is believed that 900-1000 was born some years ago, in Mandna people "in Bihar (India) along the sacred Ganges river. The name of his mother was "Jasdedevi 'and father's name was" Matra-Rakh' and was the grandson of the famous mother 'Gautam Rakh'.
It is believed that after the attainment of spirituality in use 'Karam-Vindhyas' (ring gold) gave him up for Aspar Pandya (SATGUR), to eliminate pain and suffering of the common man's life. On his way to bringing peace, prosperity and happiness in the lives of people from all walks of life, noted that a large part of India's society is deprived of basic necessities of life. He noted that "Jhankhriyas '(untouchables) and Simbhriyas' (tribal) have been banned to follow a religion that was because of religious prohibition forced upon them by the Hindus high caste (especially the Brahmans). Thus, it was determined to dedicate his life for the welfare and elevation of the oppressed and those forgotten founded a messianic religion called 'Barmati Panth on the solid basis of equality and fraternity. His first message was Karamjwar 'Dharmachar' and 'what it means to practice principles of religion (Barmati Panth) with the utmost faith and devotion. His collection of speeches he is known as' Genan.
In his initial solo tour of Bihar, west parts of ancient India, who gathered hundreds of thousands of people and assimilated into their newly formed religion Barmati called Panth. Today, lakhs of followers of the Panth Barmati profess the religion founded by very Matangdev enthusiasm and absolute faith in his teachings. All his followers, known as "Meghwars', spread across India, but its population is predominant in Kutch and Saurashtra regions of Sindh.
Barmati religious discourses (Genan) reveals that Ghuraro Lakha, an ancestor first Jadeja clan (ruling class of the Prince of Kutch region) urged Matangdev with supernatural powers to bless his own ruling status Sindh / Kutch. Revered Lakha Ghuraba Matangdev blessed that one day their descendants would be able to form his own princely state in the region Kutch. Interestingly, the history of Kutch reveals that the descendants of Lakha Ghuraba Jadeja is, they were able to form their own rules of Kutch for more eight centuries.
Kutch History owes much to Matangdev for their tremendous courage and bravery shown while protecting the country from a brutal attack by 'Haidarkhan Pastan '(a warrior Pathans of Sindh). This Matangdev feat unparalleled in Indian history, as any religious guru (teacher) has ever tried lift sword for the safety of its people. Finally, struggling with Haidarkhan outside Kutch region of Sindh, alongwith Matang Dev died martyr's death 'Abda-Jiyani' (a warrior of Kutch). However, before leaving for heavenly abode, he called his son 'Lunagdev' timely assistance in the field. As soon as Lunagdev arrived Matangdev could not survive longer and this great Messiah left this world leaving behind a giant task of uniting the people and preaching sermons holy.
Witnessing the martyrdom of his father and brave Jiyani Abda, Lord Lunagdev gathered his strength and attacked Haiderkhan in full force and killed him. Thus, the attacker is prevented from entering the soil Kutch else that would have ruined homeland with tears.
Body of the Lord Seni Matang-Dev is buried in the 'Thar' near Badin, Sindh (now in Pakistan), which is the place most important pilgrimage of all "Maisri Meghwars. Seni Each year the pilgrimage takes place in Santo '-Thar' in the Vaishakh month (Indian calendar), with maximum faith and devotion.
